Google Earth

Google Earth is a tool that can be used in any class. This is a program that shows the earth in 3D and basically has no boundaries. It can go under the ocean, zoom up to buildings, ect. In a History class this would be very useful to not only describe a place of a historic event but to show them. In a science class a teacher could show the students habitats for certain animals. It can even be used in math classes to measure distance, find the surface area of something, and to teach geometry. Here is a link to 50 ideas for google earth in the classroom
